What is
Charity Beyond Borders?
Beginning with the simple request from one educator to another to “come teach my village” Charity Beyond Borders has grown into a vast charitable wave. Lead by Lisa Trujillo, over 20 humanitarian and education focused trips have been made to Ghana, Africa.
With an initial focus on assisting growing clinics in rural communities, the work done by Charity Beyond Borders has grown to encompass so much more. From community assistance and rural pop-up clinics, to the improving education of students from primary school all the way up to college; we aim to improve the lives and healthcare of everyone we meet.
In an effort to further impact the health challenges facing Ghana Charity Beyond Borders has helped establish the first Respiratory Therapy (BS) degree in Africa. With those students graduating in Fall 2019 the reach and impact of Charity Beyond Borders across Ghana only grows.

There is a place for everyone in the work we do. Reach out to us and we will find your spot on our next mission.
Helping build a stronger future.
We reach out to villages across Ghana to establish much needed medical clinics and connect with communities. Learning about the people through their customs, traditions, and needs allow us to better serve them.
Using donations we deliver powerful medical tools to the healthcare workers across Ghana. Thoughtful teaching seminars are paired with hands on experience at hospitals and clinics with the goal of providing up to date skills and insight to their medical teams.
Charity Beyond Borders provides schools with materials and resources to improve the education of Ghana’s next generation. Additionally, we set up field days at local schools that focus on hygiene, crafts, puzzles, and fun.
The future of Charity Beyond Borders is bright and only made brighter by the volunteers, companies, and universities that partner with us. Like the University of Ghana who has, with the help of CBB, developed the first Respiratory Therapy (BS) program in Africa.
