Elevating healthcare.

From the beginning, Charity Beyond Borders has had the primary focus of improving the healthcare of the world. With the world as our goal we began our work in Ghana, Africa. In the early years we worked closely with local partners and medical facilities to improve access to quality tools and up to date medical knowledge. As we grew so did our understanding of the impact we could have on the country as a whole.

Our vision quickly expanded out from healthcare. As we worked we saw the impact community had on the lives of those we were there to serve. Connecting with communities quickly became the second pillar on which Charity Beyond Borders has grown. We found that thoughtful health and wellness seminars could vastly improve the long term understanding of healthcare in communities across the country

Over the years we have taken on many challenges and pushed forward no matter the adversity we faced. The volunteers who have traveled with us to make their difference have found the value of the work they did all around. Through the easy days and the hard, we have had the tremendous pleasure of working along side the strongest and

most selfless people we have ever known. Each and every one has made their impact that continues to reverberate through the country still today.

Elevating healthcare for us means introducing powerful change to healthcare knowledge. In collaboration with the University of Ghana, Charity Beyond Borders has done just that. Through this partnership, along with the assistance from the University of Kansas, we have helped establish the first ever Respiratory Therapy (BS) program in Africa. This milestone carries with it the enormous impact that program graduates can make long into the future and can help pave the way for more programs throughout Africa.
